These things are great. Sorta the first of the bus conversions.
In its day this was the luxury liner of the bus world.
That is why this guy is asking so much for the thing. Not that it is not worth it. Although it most likely is not.

Beach 'N Blizard
So, if you don’t know, we went to the Outer Banks this summer. For that matter 6 years ago we went there on our honeymoon. Now, when you go to coast of North Carolina or even in Maryland, you see a lot of riggs that look like this.
People mount racks on the front, back or both ends of a truck, that will carry fishing polls, a cooler or two, some chairs and so on, that they then drive out...

Fishbowl
I still am not sure why, but this is a model of GM buses that is called the Fishbowl. I actualy just missed out on buying one of these, converted to a motor home and running, for $5000.00.
In any case. This one is a different story. The web site is the real joy. If you like it though, you can buy it!

I am sure, however, holy hell it is worth a re-post if I did.
This bus is incredible. A good scrubbing would go a long way, and a nightmare to maintain is ahead for anyone who purchases this beast. But seriously. Look at it. Land Yacht to say the least. Bay window.
Wood that it were a diesel. It may be worth the asking. But being that it has been on the market at least 6 months, I beet you could...
Yesterdays bus.
So, while getting set to work this morning, I realised I did not post a bus yesterday (or did I?). In any case, you get two bus features today.
This first one is like a shadow. It is well worth a click through just to see the paint job. If I were buying a shell, and looking to spend too much on it, I would be buying this one.

Bluebird; the one they all want.
Okay, so, if you don’t know it. Bluebird is a school bus builder. They have been around a while and back in the late 60’s decided that the school bus was not enough. They were going to build a motor-home. Build one they did. In fact they are still in production today right along side the school bus production line. I will feature a Wanderlodge on its own here soon, but suffice to say...
VW Bus
These have always been very small buses, but still, according to their own nomenclature, they are buses.
I will show two, one is another ebay sale, but cool enough to be worth a look.
Edit: Just relisted!!! Still too expensive.
The other is just a local sale, if I did not have 2 kids, this would be quite a cozy little cabin.

Here we have a few buses, over a few days. I will add comment as i go. But first, a word.
